Netezza
The New York Stock Exchange uses database appliance technology from Netezza to help process oceans of trading data with the sub-second response times its customers require.
In this video, NYSE Euronext’s chief data officer Steve Hirsch explains how Netezza’s product helped it to meet the scale of its data handling challenges, and how its forthcoming TwinFin appliance will enable it to continue to scale its systems long into the future.
Hirsch described the speed with which it possible to deploy the Netezza deploy – a feat that involved the migration of 26 terabytes of data.
